Day 1 and Day 2 Mallow training Ireland
46 Adults and students come together to be trained as facilitators for the Peace project at Mallow College, Cork. 8 Educational Establishments. We separated the groups but worked in the same room. Very good feedback after working on the 3 main skills after considering leadership and communication as a starter. Great interaction, all achieved certification and the 1st Hub successfully established in Rotary Ireland
Rotary Day at the United Nations
Rotary Day at the United Nations celebrates two organizations’ shared vision for peace and highlights the critical humanitarian activities that Rotary and the UN lead around the world. Six Honourees including the Peace Project Creator, Jean Best, received awards for People of Action: Champions of Change 2017

31st October 2017. 15 Peace Advocates from S5 and S6 facilitated 50 % of the year 3 cohort with Collaborative Conversations and Purposeful Listening. The Peace Advocates also explained to the new younger group how being a Peace Advocate was helping them with their daily lives.

Leaders including District Governors, Rotary Peace Fellow, RI Director,from across Great Britain and Ireland came together to be trained to lead in conflict resolution skills

2016. Jean and Keith Best of the Peace Project revisited Chihuahua and Quadalajara with Rotary Peace Fellow Flor Yanez to train 200 facilitators of Peace Advocate groups around a newly formed Peace Project Hub managed by RPF Flor
D1080 Peace Conference
The D1080 Peace Conference on October 17th was voted a great success by those taking part. Well over 100 students, from all over the district, their teachers and Rotarians gathered in the august surroundings of the Council Chamber at Norfolk County Hall, Norwich

The Peace Advocates have created a service programme which the school has adopted to train volunteer S5 and S6 pupils to lead their Universal Support Groups from S1 to S6 (vertical groups) 50 senior students came forward for an initial 2 hour facilitated training event with Rotarian and Peace Advocate facilitators.
